1:1 Grief Coaching
Grief Hits hard
At some point or another, we will all experience grief in some shape or form. Grief shapes our lives in some of the most beautiful ways. We all suffer with loss even before we are conscious of the concept of loss. We grieve while leaving the safety of our mother’s womb. Losing a favorite toy to another toddler, we cry. Our first heartbreak is viscerally painful. Being denied from our school of choice, being laid off from a job we loved, the loss of our childhood pet and all those after, miscarriages, abortions, divorces, the death of a loved one - we cry; we mourn; we grieve; we love again.
There is no wrong way to grieve; however, we all deserve support and guidance to validate the anticipation of loss, the pain of loss, and the discovery of the wisdom we gain from loss. I would be honored to have the privilege of helping you grieve well.
Your grief journey is yours
If you are interested in grief coaching, you lead this journey. I will invest my time in learning about you so that you can teach me how best I might offer support. You will show me the path and I will hold your had as you walk it. You can expect that part of the process might include:
Lots of gentle questions so I can learn about your grief and life experiences that inform your grief journey
Grief can often be fueled based on our demographic backgrounds. Being part of the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Color), LGBTQ2S+, disabled, veteran, and/or any other disenfranchised demographic often comes with first-hand and generational trauma that become increasingly poignant through our grief. I’m here for it.
